Thanks for doing this post, just in the process of getting a pair of S-550's dusted of and into service and this will help greatly.

I assume the ver5 board should work equally as well: http://goo.gl/gTXpRh

I wonder how this lead can claim to do the same thing: http://goo.gl/ucAI2g

The HxC SD Card reader could be a worthwhile mod: https://youtu.be/ac8OU55vvo8

Do you do this with yours: https://youtu.be/jtei1cBk2mI :)

Cheers,

Chris

I use a GBS 8200 Video Board with my S-550 and the "Play" screen with 8 keyboards has the same stability issues. It's not really a problem though, it's just "there". This issue also existed on my antique RGB monitor but it wasn't nearly as pronounced. Freudelheim is a great resource for the S-550! I read your first post back in August 2014 about using the GBS 8200 Video Board and was motivated to install one myself. It's working better than expected. I have three S-550's and an S-50 and I share the GBS 8200 Video Board between all four using a switchbox.
